PainHunt ("we", "us", "our") collects information you provide directly:

• Account Data: Email address when you sign up for the waitlist or create an account.
• Payment Data: Processed securely by Stripe. We never store card numbers on our servers.
• Usage Data: Pages viewed, features used, and search queries — collected to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain our Service
• To process transactions via Stripe
• To send product updates (you can unsubscribe anytime)
• To improve our product and user experience

Email measurement. When we send you a report or product update, our email provider records whether it was delivered, whether it was opened, and which links inside it were clicked. We use this only to judge whether the content is worth sending — a report nobody opens should be fixed or stopped. We do not use it to track you across other websites, and we do not sell or share it. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing ends this measurement along with the emails.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Stripe: Payment processing
• Vercel: Hosting infrastructure
• Self-hosted MongoDB: Data storage (US East region)

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
